Fact Sheet

Riesling 2005

Fact Sheet

Winemaker’s Notes:
This Riesling is a single vineyard wine from McLaren Vale’s prominent Bakers Gully Vineyard. Located high in the hills above McLaren Vale, ironstone soil and cooler climate allows for the production of delicate white wines such as this.

Cabernet Sauvignon 2003

Winemaker’s Notes:
Highly aromatic fruit from extremely low yielding vineyards showing mainly menthol and mint characters evident on both nose and palate. This is enhanced through maturation in 60% new French oak adding depth and structure.

Fact Sheet

Cabernet Sauvignon 15 Barrels 2003

Fact Sheet

Winemaker’s Notes:
Harvested between October 8 (Garnatxa and Syrah) and October 20 (Marcelan), the grapes are all hand-picked and sorted. Moderate summer temperatures resulted in slow ripening of the fruit (optimum maturity 7 to 14 days later than normal) leading to increased complexity and depth of flavor.

Bakers Gully Shiraz 2005

Winemaker’s Notes:
The sandy soil and tough subsoil of Bakers Gully Vineyard consistently produce our best Shiraz wines showing rich mocha and spice aromas with round plum fruit flavors.

Fact Sheet

Shiraz 2004

An excellent vintage with mild weather throughout leading to balanced, fruity wines with great concentration and depth.

The Vincent Shiraz 2003

Winemaker’s Notes:
Selected from an elevated block within the Vineyard, which consists mainly of ‘tough’ ironstone-based soil types. Ageing was in 100% new American oak barrels for 21 months followed by 3 months in older French barrels for additional complexity and integration.
