Brightview Semillon 2006

Winemaker’s Notes:
This wine exemplifies the perfect marriage between Semillon and the Barossa Valley and is complexed by judicious skin and lees contact. Only a really disciplined collector could bear to put this down as it is delicious now. Still, it would be very, very interesting to see it again in a few years time.

Tasting Notes:
Brilliant with a tinge of gold. Tending towards tropical fruit and melon aromas supported by hints of a light citrus backbone. Mouth filling and rich at the outset, opening into a generous and weighty mid-palate where the succulent tropical citrus characters are found in abundance. Showing incredible structure and depth, the palate finishes with neat, clean, crisp acidity.
