Wines

Cabernet Sauvignon 2003

Winemaker’s Notes:
Vintified from selected Cabernet Sauvignon Grapes, this classic red wine displays vibrant deep brick red coloring, with purple tinges on the meniscus. The youthful flavor of the wine is complemented by the full, fine palate which is enhanced by barrel maturation.

Color: Medium intense purple red with ruby and pink edges.
Nose: Top note is lifted confectionary sweetness. Fresh cherry,
ripening strawberry with cassis backing.
Palate: Smooth, rich entry of clean young berry. Good balance
throughout palate. Soft, accessible tannins lightly dust the sweet, ripe blackberry dominated mid-palate. Dense oak shows comfortably
towards back palate

Magaret River

McLaren Vale is the country’s oldest wine growing region.  In the heart of this historic area’s undulating hills is the Tapestry Winery.  The region’s rich ironstone soils foster low-yield vineyards and the cool coastal climate produce wines with intense flavor and concentration.  Winemaker Jonathan Ketley believes that the wines of Tapestry should truly express their varietal and regional character and this philosophy is expressed in every bottle he crafts.
