Winemaker’s Notes:
Harvested between October 8 (Garnatxa and Syrah) and October 20 (Marcelan), the grapes are all hand-picked and sorted. Moderate summer temperatures resulted in slow ripening of the fruit (optimum maturity 7 to 14 days later than normal) leading to increased complexity and depth of flavor.

Nose: Fruity and spicy, reminiscent of ripe blackberries and cherries.
Palate: Silky and juicy with soft tannins providing firm grip, yet not an overpowering structure.

Technical:
Appellation: Gurraf Massis, Penedès
Grape Variety: Garnacha (40%), Merlot (30%), Marcelan (10%), Cariñena (10%), Syrah (10%)
Alcohol: 13.7%
Cellaring: 6 months in French Oak barrels
