Old Vine Syrah 2006

Winemaker’s Notes:
The grapes are destemmed and placed into stainless steel tanks for 9 to 10 days to undergo fermentation. Malolactic fermentation takes place naturally in the spring and the wines will be racked three to four times to remove unpleasant odors.

Color: A mature cherry red color, with touches of mahogany at the edges.
Nose: Warm and spicy, with aromas of compote and jams, as well as the spiciness from the ageing: vanilla, cedar and pepper.
Palate: Well-structured, offering soft but firm tannins and a streak of acidity to keep it fresh and pleasant.

Technical:
Alcohol: 13,3%
Acidity: 5,4 g/l
Residual sugar: 2 g/
